Objective 1:
Everyone with cancer will know that they
can turn to Macmillan from the moment they
are diagnosed, and how we can help them.
We're famous for our amazing Macmillan nurses, but many people living with cancer, as well as doctors, nurses, or healthcare professionals, don't know
how we can help them at different stages of a cancer experience. We want to make sure everyone is aware of the vital information and support we offer.
We estimate that 102,000
people used our information
and support services at the
point of diagnosis, compared
to 86,000 in 2022. This
includes support through
our Macmillan Support Line,
our website, our Volunteer
Buddies and our Information
and Support Centres across
the UK1.
